POST TRAUMATIC CAROTICO-CAVERNOUS FISTULA EMBOLISATION
76 yr old lady with history of fall two months back, presented with swelling of both eyes.

Cerebral angiogram done revealed right carotico-cavernous fistula (Barrow’s type A - direct) with venous outflow through both superior ophthalmic veins.

Trans-arterial embolisation of the cavernous sinus was performed with complete occlusion of the carotico-cavernous fistula.

Immediate post procedure reduction of proptosis
